Prayers are articulations of the vows we make within ourselves and invocations for guidance along the path. They are not meant for material gain or escape from karmic consequence, but as sincere expressions of altruistic aspiration, perseverance, and inner resolve.

When prayers are sacred and pure, they may become a source of guidance and support as we continue toward Enlightenment. The sincerity in our prayers gives them power and contributes to the manifestation of our altruistic aims and aspirations for others.
