Zeal For Zion episodes
- 36. The Disturbing Origin of Pure Life Ministries (with Chris Johnson)
In this new and exciting episode of Zeal For Zion, Andy and Tim sit down with Chris, a fellow survivor of the cult in Kentucky known as Pure Life Ministries. Chris explains the tragic past of the charismatic and pentecostal movement which ultimately lead to the Zion Faith homes, which Steve Gallagher (President of PLM) attended and learned under. These stories tell the complex and bitter rise to power that Steve had that ultimately led to the bankrupt and legalistic cult that we know today.
