Background

• The temple of God does two things, which involves two different individuals.

  • Demonstrates God’s presence with His people, mediated by God’s priest

  • Demonstrates God’s rule over His people, mediated by God’s king

• The priest is the representative of the people before God

• God called Israel to be His “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exod 19:6)

Theme: (3:1-10) 4th Vision: God will accomplish His promises through the Angel of the Lord who is the Priest-King.
