In this delightful Episode, Dosho Port Roshi joins me.  We discussed his time with Dainin Katagiri Roshi, Harada Tangen Roshi in Japan, Daido Lori Roshi, and James Ford Roshi.  We also discussed the pandemic and the transition to a largely online Dharma, with its inherent costs and benefits.  Lastly, we discussed why Zen is relevant for today.  Dosho is the Author of two books, Keep Me In Your Heart a While: The Haunting Zen of Dainin Katagiri, and The Record of Empty Hall is due out in early 2021 (Shambhala). Dosho is also the author of the blog Wild Fox Zen: Living the Dream  Dōshō began practicing Zen in 1977 and now co-teaches at the Nebraska Zen Center with his wife, Tetsugan. Dōshō also teaches with the Vine of Obstacles: Online Support for Zen Training, an internet-based Zen community.
