A new Shrek film is in production, slated for release in Christmas 2026. The original cast, including Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy, will reprise their roles. Zendaya joins the cast as Shrek and Fiona's daughter. A teaser clip shows Zendaya's character interacting with Shrek and Fiona. Zendaya has been a longtime fan of the Shrek franchise.
