Zenobia is the queen of Palmyra, an ancient city in Syria on the Roman Empire's eastern frontier. When her growing Palmyrene Kingdom is drawn into war with Rome, Zenobia fights to defend her city and her throne against a determined emperor Aurelian, with the fate of her people at stake.
