Zenos Schmickrath's mission at Hmlet is to ensure every member is being taken care of, feels connected to the community, and is empowered to live a more fulfilling life.

As people increasingly feet the bite of expensive isolated living, Zenos and his business partner Yoan Kamalski wanted to create a solution for affordable, flexible, and secure accommodations. Hmlet was launched to address this need, as co-living fast became a necessity to the lifestyle of a mobile workforce.

Prior to Hmlet, Zenos co-founded Opscotch with Yoan, a property management startup that maintained a portfolio of shared houses in Singapore and Tokyo.

Originally from the USA, Zenos landed in Singapore after taking some time to travel the world, living in Japan, China and Mexico and learning all three languages. Arriving in Singapore in 2012, Zenos founded several startup companies, each with a strong focus in tech.

In his downtime, Zenos enjoys reading, working out and learning more about other cultures via his travels throughout Asia Pacific.
