Kylee Swenson Gordon is an award-winning editorial director, content strategist, and storyteller. As the former Director of Content Development & Owned Media at Autodesk, she led a global, multilingual team of writers, editors, designers, illustrators, and video producers for the Webby Award–winning publication Design & Make with Autodesk. Under her leadership, she helped transform the platform from a modest business blog (formerly Redshift) into a global network in seven languages.
A veteran journalist and editor in chief, Kylee has produced deeply reported stories and thought leadership content across a wide range of industries—from architecture, construction, and aerospace to biology, manufacturing, music, and film. She is also a dynamic public speaker, event panel moderator, and advocate for integrating AI into all manner of projects to ignite creativity.
Before Autodesk, Kylee was a music magazine editor for Guitar Player, Remix, URB, and EQ, and she wrote for Rolling Stone, Wired, Filter, Maxim, and VIBE. She is the author/editor of The Recording Secrets Behind 50 Great Albums, was nominated for a Grammy as a singer and collaborator with the Mexican electronic group Nortec Collective, and she served as a Governor for the San Francisco chapter of the Recording Academy.
