After any period of punitive captivity, there is a process we can follow to speed the redemptive restoration of God. We observe that in the story of Zerubbabel as he leads the remnant back from captivity to Rebuild the Temple of God. If we realize it is time to rebuild, we must think clearly about God's participation in our blessings and curses, and let the Spirit of God fill us as we prioritize the rebuilding of His Temple in our lives. We are the temple of God now so we must rebuild what we have lost in our churches and spiritual lives during our pandemic captivity. The experience of Zeruabbabel teaches how.
