Around 100 residents were evacuated from a high-rise apartment block on Link Road in Zetland after a fire broke out in a fifth-floor unit overnight. Emergency crews responded to reports of thick smoke filling multiple floors and extinguished the blaze within an hour. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, leaving the room where it started seriously damaged.
