📘原文
杭州蘇耽老，性滑稽，善嘲人。人惡之，元旦，畫疫神一紙壓其門。耽老晨出開門，見而大笑，迎疫神歸，延之上座，與共飲酒而燒化之。是年大疫，四鄰病者為祀疫神。其病人輒作神語曰：「我元旦受蘇耽老禮敬，愧無以報。欲禳我者，必請蘇君陪我，我方去。」于是祀疫神者爭先請蘇，蘇逐日奔忙，困于酒食。其家大小十餘口，無一病者。
