Two prisoners who spent close to 10 years at Zimbabwe's notorious Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison after they were wrongly convicted of murder have been acquitted and released after an appeal.

They were sentenced to serve 20 years for allegedly murdering a Zimbabwe Republic Police officer.
