Christ-followers are adopted into the family of God. Members are to protect the family name and carry on the family business of searching and sending. (Romans 8:15-17)

Scripture tells us that the Church is a Body. Jesus is the Head of the Body. The Body demands diversity and unity. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:14-20)

The Church is a Temple and Jesus is the Foundation. (1 Corinthians 3:10-23)

God views the Church as the Bride of Christ. (Songs 4:12; 1 John 4:8; John 3:16; Hosea 2:1-2; Ephesians 5:25-26; 2 Corinthians 11:2)

You can expect pastors to live their lives according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7. You can also expect them to protect, prepare and pray for the church. (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4)

You can expect the church family to please/serve you. The church family can also expect you to do the same for it. (Romans 15:1-7)

As Christ-followers, we are called to look more like Jesus, serve more like Jesus and love more like Jesus. (1 Peter 2:11-12; Mark 6:30-37; Philippians 2:1-8)

As Christ-followers, we can expect the world to hate us, but we are called to live among them and love them. (John 15:18)

How you treat your home affects generations and neighbors. (Psalm 127:1)
