Problem: The spindles on these recalled Convertible House Bed Frames and Montessori Floor Beds are spaced far enough apart that children may become entrapped with strangulation and death. The bed’s design permits a child’s torso but not the head to slip through.
Sold: About 7,450 beds were sold online at Zipadeekids.com and at Zipadee's Etsy.com shop.
Actions: Do not permit your kids to sleep on or otherwise use these beds. The CPSC suggests that you dispose of the beds without reselling or donating them. The company has closed and offers no refunds.
