AASW (Accessible and Affordable Sanitation for Women) exists to give all women proper access to menstrual hygiene and to educate them about the menstrual process.

Ziyaan Virji started this initiative because his mom didn't have proper access to menstrual hygiene. Now, his initiative has given over 1,000 reusable menstruation pads. The goal this year alone is to surpass 2,500. And eventually, Ziyaan and his entire group of volunteers want to serve all the 500 million women around the world who don't have proper access to reusable menstruation pads - let alone any menstrual hygiene products.
