Astrology is almost timeless as it has been used by mankind for thousands of years and holds a fascination with millions, even today but is it science fact or science fiction? This depends on whether you are a sceptic or a true believer in astrology but here's one for the sceptics out there: is having just a belief in something really enough to transform an event into a reality? Astrology was most definitely used hand in hand with astronomy up until the 17th and 18th centuries. Philosophy and astrology were also strongly linked as evidence shows in the studies of the ancient Greeks. Astrology was used to foresee major events but was difficult to determine exactly what that event would be or the outcome of the event. It's not until it actually happened that the last missing piece of the puzzle was found and then it all made sense. This still applies to astrology today, we know roughly what the event will involve but until the event has occurred we can then see the picture in full and understand it.
