Parenthood introduced another layer of complexity. Both speakers describe the emotional and logistical challenges of becoming, and being parents – from surrogacy to sleep deprivation, building connection and solidarity through ArchiBubs, parental rights and to returning to work. They emphasise the importance of having supportive partners, flexible workplaces and inclusive parental leave policies.
