The sea of life is raging, the storm clouds round me roll, I'm tossed about in turmoil and its growing very cold.

By myself I'd never make it, but this one thing I know - when I speak the Name of Jesus, the storm clouds have to go.

Our world is becoming an unbalanced placed.  Nations - nationalities - religions - economies.

All this brings turmoil, sometimes unexpected into out lives.

Paul, while going up to Rome to testify before Caesar, faced a cyclone - literally.

In Acts 27 we are given the account of the shipwreck he experienced.

His world was out of balance  - in the natural, yet he maintained his balance and preserved the life of all those in the ship with him.

We look at how he did this so we can learn from his example.

This broadcast is directed at those who have some understanding and belief in Divine Healing:  physical healing through the intervention of God in the physical realm upon the physical body.

I want to help you grow from asking for healing to administering healing through the laying on of hands:  on yourself or others.

Have you noticed that Jesus didn't 'pray' for His Father to heal the sick?

The Church over the years has developed the function of ministering to the sick only through prayer.  This most likely based on Jame 5:14&15:  "The prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up."

The believer has the Spirit of Christ the Healer IN them.

The Spirit of God is a tangible substance.

We are to 'administer' that Substance until healing/wellness manifests in the mortal body.

I have a great burden to help people needing healing understand this 'operation of the Spirit'.

It is the answer to your prayers.

Physical healing through the ministry of Jesus is seen in the Gospels.  It is seen in the ministry of the early church.  Is it available today?

John Dowie, a minister in the latter half of the 1800's and early part of the 21st century, published a weekly paper entitled, "Leaves of Healing".  Thousands had their bodies healed through faith in the Name and Person of Jesus in his ministry.

Today I am sharing with you eight points that he published in each paper entitled:  "God's Way of Healing".  These eight points will give a sure foundation for a life of wellness.

Healing IS where God IS.

God, present every where all the time becomes PRESENT WITH YOU in particular, when He sees that your faith eyes are focused on Him.

The natural realm is patterned after the realities of the Kingdom of God and the laws that govern its operation.

In quantum physics, the particles of an atom are in 'cloud' form until the scientist 'looks' at them.  Then they become the dot that we are familiar with seeing.  What causes the cloud to become a particle?  The scientist looking at the atom.

Do you see the similarities?  God sees you in a particular way when you look toward Him in faith.  He then is present to manifest what your faith is giving substance to.

Today's explorations in the realities of healing.

"God is" - two short but powerful words.  Hebrews 11:6 tells you that if you come to God, believing that He IS, that He will reward you as you diligently seek him.

I heard a man say many years ago that two areas in which Christians find consistent challenges are in the areas of finances and physical healing.  And that many people have strong faith in one or the other area where they can get consistent manifestations.

Getting strong to receive is our focus. 

I want to share with you some simple keys on how to achieve that.

In receiving from God, the tense (past, present,future) has more to do with your manifestation than how many books you have read, sermons you have listened to or how many times you have had hands laid on you for healing.

I have proved this material I am sharing with you in my own 'blacksmith shop'.

A life of wellness is mine.

"The Language of the spirit....the spirit of man has a voice.

The action of God in your spirit that begins with the pouring forth of the Spirit-given language in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, causes your spirit to speak by its voice.  There is a language common to the spirit of man.  It is not any of the languages of the earth.  It is a language of the spirit of man.  And, oh, what a joy it was when that pent-up, bursting, struggling spirit of yours found it's voice and spake in tongues".

This sermon by Dr. Lake is the most outstanding one I have ever heard on the topic of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  Dr. Lake approaches it with his usual 'scientific' approach to the things of the Spirit.

Pray for the eyes of your understanding to open, and your spirit to receive the wonderful infusion of Life that comes your way in this message.

Dr. Lake is sharing one general thought in this sermon:  The presence of Christ.

"One of the things the Christian world does not get hold of with a STRONG GRIP is the fact of His Presence with us NOW.  It would naturally seem as if a separation had occurred because of His Return to Glory, but NO SUCH SEPARATION is contemplated on the part of Christ.  Christ promises His omnipotent presence with us always.

Jesus is just as close to the Christian soul as He was to Paul.  There is a beautiful verse that expresses that so sweetly, 'Closer is He than breathing, and nearer than hands and feet'.

Jesus is The Anointed One.  His Presence is The Anointing with you.  Because of life, you aren't always aware of The Anointing.  Church services and Gospel meetings help you to 'tune in' to what is there all the time.

Dr. Lake gives some good sound instruction in the 'how to's' of cultivating your awareness of the Anointing even without being in a Gospel service.

Kenneth E Hagin said:  "I am more aware of God's Presence than I am of my own wife lying next to me in bed...."

Something there to think about!

What is the extent of your deliverance from the kingdom of darkness and Satan's authority over you?

Is it an incident-by-incident deliverance?

A temptation-by-temptation deliverance?

Or is it a once-for-all deliverance?

The answer is found in this word for "to rescue fom, to preserve from, to deliver out from, to deliver out of" that is the Greek word found in our study during this series:

"Giving thanks to the Father, who has RHOUMAI me out of the kingdom of darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of His dear Son."  Colossians 1:13.

For deliverance from darkness to be a part of your daily walk, you must see that your deliverance from darkness has already been accomplished when you were born again.

Now you are walking out the deliverance YOU RECEIVED.

This will be the conclusion of this current study on Colossians 1:13 - Delivered From The Power of Darkness.

Colossians 1:13:  "Giving thanks to the Father Who has delivered us from the power (exousia) of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son."

Statement of Fact:  Satan's rights to you were broken by the New Birth/Salvation/Receiving Jesus as your Savior.

The word, 'power' in this verse is 'exousia' in Greek and is in reality 'authority'.

There is a difference between authority and actual power.

The word 'power' in the Greek is the word 'dunamis'.

Power is greater than authority for it is the 'power' behind the authority that causes it to be effective.

When the 'power of sin' was removed in your life when you were born again, Satan's authority to control you was also removed.

What really is your New Birth worth?  Today we look into the answer further.
