Publisher's Summary:
The final thrilling installment of Darren Shan's Zom-B series is sure to knock you dead!
B Smith has escaped from the murderous clown, Mr. Dowling, only to find herself trapped by someone she had once thought of as an ally. As B learns more about the twisted history of the zombie virus, she prepares to make a final stand against her enemies - even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.
Critic Reviews:
"A raw and deeply observant tale of a morally questionable kid trying, and usually failing, to move beyond the ingrained racism instilled by B's father. It is a brave move by Shan to posit such a bigoted hooligan as our protagonist." (Booklist)
"Character development is impressive...and Shan executes the transition from normalcy to wholesale terror masterfully." (Publishers Weekly)
"Horror with a social conscience.... This compelling page-turner builds steadily to the climax then throws the reader off the cliff with a twist that is impossible to see coming." (VOYA)

Damn!!!!
What a climactic finale.
I'm torn on whether I would have wanted the unconventional ending where the zombies rule, or whether I love the ending that Shan created, which is still unconventional. Either way, this story was a ride to behold. Holy moly(giggle).
Holy Moly is easily my favorite character now. And I love the moments between B and Holy Moly.
Easily makes up for the ending of Zom B Fugitive. I can forgive Shan for that.
A rip roaring ride fueled with twists and turns, and no one is safe.
Not even B Smith.
A Satisfying Conclusion
A decade ago I was given my first Darren Shan book. To this day, he remains one of my favorite horror writers of all time. This is a satisfying conclusion to a series which held my attention from beginning to end, and the entire journey has been an interesting take on the zombie trend. If you enjoyed this series, particularly the twisted aspects, I highly recommend Shan's adult novels, "The Evil and the Pure" and "Lady of the Shades," either of which may be under pseudonyms due to extremely graphic content. Again, I can't recommend this author enough! :)
Awesome series
It was a great conclusion to an amazing series. I like his Cirque du Freak books just a smidge better than the Zom-B books, but they were still amazing. I'd recommend them to anyone.
A biased opinion, since I love this author.
I absolutely love Darren Shan's work, and Zom-B Goddess was no exception. For those who do not know, this is the final book in the Zom-B series, and as such it's events are somewhat unexpected, but not entirely random. If I had to relate it to another of Shan's books, I would say it is quite similar to Hell's Heroes in it's way of finishing all the many character's story lines with one fantastic ending!
Simply amazing...
I will reveal nothing about this book in this review. This book, or more so this series, is simply amazing. I urge you all to read it from top to bottom, each piece. You will not be disappointed... Thank you Darren Shan....
