We are joined this week by Phil Colclough! Phil is a dad to two, a husband, an outdoor enthusiast and the Director of Animals, Conservation and Education at Zoo Knoxville. We sat down with Phil at Hexagon Brewing Co. in Knoxville, TN to add his Today’s Dad definition to the mix.

Phil talks with us about sharing his love of the outdoors, whether it's kayaking, camping or exploring, with his family and gives his take on how to introduce and share your passions with your kids. Phil and his crew have so much fun playing in the outdoors, and do it in comfort, it certainly made us jealous we don’t get to join in the fun!

His Today’s Dad definition is about flexibility. Everyone one of our kids is unique so we can’t parent them the same as the next. We have to be flexible in how we raise them and teach them to be flexible as they move through life, trying new things, and discovering what their calling and passions are.
