The Monster Catcher's Journal

In this episode, I talk about one of the most unexpected and meaningful bonds I’ve ever formed—my connection with Zyntronaut, a space-borne Glyph I caught during a solo mission beyond Nibiru’s atmosphere.

At first, I thought he’d be safest in my Sanctuary, floating peacefully in the observatory wing. But it didn’t take long to realize that Zyntronaut wasn’t meant to sit still. He was drifting. Distant. Like he hadn’t truly landed yet.

At the same time, I started noticing how worn down Reaper Fish had become. He was trying to keep up, but the spark he once had in battle was fading fast. He needed rest—and I needed to make a call.

This episode is about what happened next. About choosing to pull Zyntronaut into my team full-time, and what it meant to give one of my oldest allies a break. It’s about learning that some Glyphs don’t just want to be caught—they want to belong. And sometimes, leadership means knowing when to let go… and who to lean on.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of making the right choice for your team, or wondered what makes a Glyph more than just a fighter—this one’s for you.
