How can Christians be sure they're going to heaven? And why are we commanded to forgive our enemies whether they repent or not yet God won't forgive us unless we repent?

FROM GOD TO US: HOW WE GOT OUR BIBLE AND HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF IT - Studying, memorizing, and reading the Bible to many may seem like a duty they'd rather finish quickly instead of let the Word fill them with grace. Doing anything out of duty either produces a sense of accomplishment or guilt if we do or don't partake and God's Word wasn't meant to be read that way. It is meant as a grace producer and as we engage in His Word, we're renewed in our perspective on God's faithful love and sovereignty, and are transformed and filled by the grace those in the Bible and we today need and can relate to in our lives.

FROM GOD TO US: HOW WE GOT OUR BIBLE AND HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF IT - You can be a great reader of God's Word and still never hide it, or treasure it, or store it up, in your heart. David told us the process by which God's Word was stored in his heart in the last part of this message, but the message he received is of no use to God's kingdom unless we treat it like spiritual food and convert it into energy by putting the Word stored in our heart into practice.

THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE - We're called not to just speak the truth, but be compassionate truth tellers. The problem with this is none of us love hearing the truth and as suppressors of the truth, that makes it impossible for us to hear it without help from God. We have defined marriage by God's design and purposes and now will be looking at how the world rationalizes homosexual behaviour based on the desire to put one's own authority over God's plan and purposes.

THE MEANING OF MARRIAGE - Why is virginity before marriage so important? God, who designed you, puts high value on the continuity of purity before marriage and fidelity after marriage. We are illustrating a picture of Christ and His Church when we are pure and faithful to our spouse and in doing so have put Kingdom values over the lure of Satan in the world who in contrast makes everything permissible and justifiable.
