Like Job in the Bible, you too can turn to God in your pain and darkness and find light and hope. He has all power; he is in control; he has a plan for you. And he already carried out the ultimate plan of salvation for you through Jesus.  1 Corinthians 10:13; Job 2:10; Hebrews 8:12; 1 Peter 1:20; Job 19:25-27

As you build up your faith through the study of God’s Word, you'll find joy in serving him and see that he is the only way to heaven. Looking to God and his Word are the key to being spiritual, not worldly.  1 Corinthians 3:1-22

There's no need to worry! Instead, you can be confident that your Father in heaven holds you, protects you, and promises to give you all that you need. Matthew 6:25-34

Your blessings come from God and belong to him. When you are generous with others, you are sharing what God has given you, and he promises to bless you!  Proverbs 11:4,24,25; 2 Corinthians 9:8-11

Remember that you are loved and valued by God and you have it all in Jesus! That knowledge brings joy to your life.  Psalm 73:21-28

The true story of Christmas is that God sent his Son to save us. Staying connected to Jesus, who created us, sustains us, saved us, and is always with us, gives our lives value and purpose. Because of him we are God's children, here to live our lives for him.  Colossians 1:15-20

When we feel like giving up, God encourages us to own up to the sinful part we play in our lives, to repent, and to look to his Word to build us up and strengthen us for when times get tough so that we persevere and look ahead to heaven.  Revelation 2:1-7
