Ik ben de wijnstok en jullie zijn de ranken - "I am the vine, and you are the branches."

Ik ben de weg, de waarheid en het leven - "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

Jezus geeft het voorbeeld - "I have set an example that you should do as I have done."
