Maureen Healy is the founder of Growing Happy Kids, and author of the book by the same name. She also has a thriving practice working directly with parents and children fostering their positive emotional health and building their skills (phone, skype and in-person).
Maureen is also not new to making a positive impact on children around the world. In 2007, she crafted a program for Tibetan refugee children in Asia and since then has built child-centered programs around the United States.
Most unique about Maureen is her approach in integrating western science and spiritual wisdom to nurture happiness in children. Such insight is also conveyed in her intelligent yet witty writing, speaking and teaching style. Online you can find her work at Psychology Today's website, and also the PBS series: This Emotional Life.
And with 20 years of experience, Healy happily shares her expertise in children’s emotional health and parenting. Her formal academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Masters of Business Administration from Clark University as well as a Masters level of completion in child clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University. Complimented by in-depth studies in Tibetan Buddhism in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Maureen has helped countless parents and teachers around the world raise happier kids. She has personally worked in Europe, Asia and across the United States.
