The Giver Of Spirit

Jesus was filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. He operated in the full power of the Holy Spirit. After Pentecost we have been filled with the same Holy Spirit. Jesus attributed everything he did to the Person and power of the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit we have. We have everything we need. We abide in the same person Jesus did. We have everything Jesus had. Romans 8:11 “The SAME Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you…”

Pastor Funaro explains the armor of God from a biblical basis that goes contrary to much of the evangelical teaching on the topic. This message brings freedom and power to the hearer. We are created to go on the offense not be defensive against the enemy. We are to destroy the works of the devil! God is not a respecter of persons and the moment you are saved you have the same Holy Spirit in the same measure that Jesus had. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to do the same works as Jesus and greater.

Pastor Joe Funaro unpacks how God views us. Through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus our sin and the consequences of sin is removed. Since the cross God sees believers as he sees Jesus, a blameless son of God. Jesus blood purges our conscience from sin.
