Almost every time I ask a Bible study group what book they want to study next, I get the same answer; Revelation. The problem with the book is always the same. People want to know what is going to happen in the future. They particularly want details so they can set up some kind of a time line. I think that God WAS revealing some of the things that would happen in the future. However, John wrote this letter to Christians during his time and Jesus has still not come back.
