Welcome back to Mind Body Future, the community-driven podcast focused on mindfulness and its various practices. In this episode, Kane speaks with international singing talent Emma Hewitt. They discuss her introduction to mindfulness, her daily practices, and her various experiences with it since she began her journey around ten years ago. Fun fact: Emma was actually a big reason this podcast came to be, so massive thank you to her.
Emma's practices:
Write down your goal 30 times a day and visualize it actually happening.
Gratitude practices
Dopamine detox
This episode's practice: This week's practice build's upon the previous episode's, and adds grounding to the mix. When your alarm goes off, and after you've done a self-check-in, take a moment to firmly plant your feet to the ground, and imagine roots coming out of your feet and into the earth. Stay like this for 30-60 seconds. What does that feel like? What is the first thing you notice? Let me know by sending a message.
