“My paintings are a personal exploration of both literal and emotional places I’ve been to. Through abstraction I can re-experience these places beyond a literal or realistic translation through finding a connection or memory through marks, gestures, colour and relationships of space. Art for me has always been about telling the truth about myself.” Felicity has been selected as a finalist in the Blacktown Art Prize and the Hornsby Art Prize 2015. Felicity is a five time finalist in the Gosford Art Prize. She was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for the Contemporary Art Award Jan 2016 and the ‘Art on Board’ Prize, Art Shine Gallery Sydney, July 2015. She has been selected in the ‘Art in the Vines’ show (highly commended) and the Waverley Art Prize twice. She was awarded a commission of 75 works for the Sir Norman Foster Building, ‘Lumiere’, Regents Place, Sydney in 2006. She currently enjoys working from her home studio on the N.S.W.
