Welcome to this episode of the Yoga Live podcast. Today I'm talking to Cassandra, who is a fellow yoga instructor here in Denver, Colorado.
Cassandra created Honest Haven Yoga Studio here in Denver, where she teaches multiple styles of yoga classes and trainings out of her backyard greenhouse yoga studio.
This was such a fun conversation. We talk about many things, including:
teaching yoga in a greenhouse
practicing at home versus a yoga studio (or what we call "home practice" in the yoga world)
creating space for your yoga practice (and your life) to evolve
bodily autonomy
how yoga helped Cassandra to hold space for herself in her health journey
and so much more!
Cassandra talks about her health journey, where she battled with an undiagnosed illness for eight years. But after making a career change and working at an acupuncture clinic, she finally got the answers she needed and the right treatment for her illness.
Cassandra's story is really inspiring, especially for anyone who's gone through health challenges and found healing through alternative therapies like yoga and acupuncture.
Tune in to hear her story, and make sure to catch the next episode for a meditation practice with Cassandra!
