Spending the majority of her career in the legal field, taking on various administrative roles, Allison found herself constantly burned out. In need of a creative outlet, Allison created Allison Martin Studios and it eventually evolved into a small business. In the midst of a global pandemic, Allison found candle making, and that is where the heart of Allison Martin Studios truly started. AMS creates hand poured beeswax candles that burn clean, are scented with aromatherapy grade essential oils, have crackling wood wicks, and can be enjoyed by anyone, including people with sensitivities to fragrances. Social and environmental responsibility, and transparency, are key in every aspect of Allison Martin Studios because people matter and this planet matters. When Allison is not creating and dreaming up new ideas, she is probably laughing at an inside joke with her sister, enjoying a cup of fair trade coffee, or talking about books with a friend.
