004_The Power of Storytelling Through the Eyes of a Stroke Survivor

Listen Later

Every episode of Connect with Confidence is special. But, today's episode, is especially near and dear to my heart because I am joined by a very dear friend of mine.

Nikki Steele had a stroke at the young age of 26. After 4 years of recovery - both physical and mental - she now uses her platform to share her incredible story and encourage others to do the same.

Talking about hard things in our life is just that - it's hard. In this episode, Nikki talks about the mental roadblocks she overcame in her new self identity as a stroke survivor and the beauty that lies on the other side of sharing her story.

Today's conversation is one of hardship, struggle but, most importantly, hope. As you listen to Nikki's journey, my hope is that you feel inspired to tell whatever story it is that you have been wanting to share with the world.
