Our brain is capable of so much more than what we use it for. I have read that we have 50 - 70,000 thoughts per day. That means that each of us has between 35 & 48 thoughts per minute!!! That is incredible right? Something else I thought was interesting was the fact that most of those thoughts are from the past - re-thinking something that happened, or something someone said. What if we used the power of our mind to transform our lives? What if we could change anything in our lives?   A site that I found very useful when I researched this amazing process, is called Unchainmybrain.com. As a matter of fact, I love when it says "SUCCESS starts in your mind." You can completely change your entire reality by programing your mind in the right language. When you begin to use the power of visualization ...you will unlock your full potential. Are you interested? I know I was when I first studied is - think about it... its free...you have the control...and it is so simple!!!   Creative Visualization has been written about for years - have you read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill? That book sold over 70 million copies since 1937 - and actually still sells today. Another book I have enjoyed is one by Shakti Gawain called Creative Visualization.   Let's talk about what visualization is...its like a mental programming. You've heard me mention the subconscious mind in my other podcasts - well, it has mental images stored within it. When we focus on visualizing images on what I would call the 'screen of our mind' - with repetition, this will reprogram our subconscious mind. Visualize only what you would like to experience in your life - and only what you would like to improve...once your subconscious mind accepts the images and truth...you will draw to you the very thing that you are focusing on.   Visualization works on everything in your life...your body...your home...your car....your career...you name it...you can change it.   A quote from William Arthur Ward "If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it".   What you can use visualization to transform? - gain confidence & self esteem - overcome fears - fear of heights, spiders, speaking in front of crowds - improve your performance...Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Schwarzenegger, & Michael Jordan all used visualization to improve their performances. We can all do that - relief & control pain - some people visualize locking their pain in a chest or box   The best thing is your mind cannot distinguish between reality and imagined experiences. You can totally use this to your full advantage by imagining yourself achieving your goals with ease, joy & passion!   So...let's talk about how to Visualize? 1. Take a few deep breathes and relax. Continue to breath and when you exhale...let go of the stress you have in your body. 2. Visualize right in front of you a TV screen. Using the power of your mind, turn the TV on. 3. Imagine that you are watching yourself doing whatever it is you would like to experience in reality. - for weight loss...see yourself wearing the clothes you love - for your home...see yourself walking through your home - for your career...see yourself doing what you love - for finances...see yourself depositing money into your account...see your account balance as 6 or 7 figures.   There is an infinite number of visualization you can do with this.
