Yasser Arafat is perhaps the most notable face in the story of Palestinian resistance. As the leader of Fatah, Chairman of the PLO, and President of the Palestinian Authority, his prominence in this story is undeniable. He's a man that many look up to still, over a decade after his death. His charismatic approach to politics and his bold stance as part of the resistance solidified him as the father figure of the Palestinian people during the last few decades of the 20th century.
