Welcome to the Truth 4 The Youth Podcast. In this episode, Garth challenges the view of labels on young people and the dichotomy between why they call our young people gangs when they get together and socialise in a way that other groups do too.
Bankers, MP’s and Sports Teams are all groups of people, who share the same code of conduct, share the same ethos and act and behaviour in a similar way. They even dress the same, so why is it when applied to young people we label them as ‘gangs’?

Other groups meet together, dress the same and act the same, but we do not judge them or view them with a particular stereotype. There’s a different truth to what is being taught at school, they’re being set up to fail. It’s not the way the world is and we have a responsibility to educate our youth. So be better, learn more and teach our youth that they are a valuable asset to society and they’re not the worst part, they’re actually the best part and if you can be the best version of yourself you can be, that benefits everyone.
