47 years have passed since Shay said good bye to her daughter. She moved to her husband’s village and never returned. Since that time a series of early spring droughts shattered the ability to harvest enough food for the winter. To prevent a famine, the villagers have concentrated their efforts on fishing and hunting to make up for the poor harvests. In this story we follow the life of Shay’s youngest son, Luddy, who has become one of the best Elk hunters in the Kurhass.
Every incident has an antecedent, and every individual has an ancestor. This chain of Antecedors is unbroken. Follow this family through the eons of time, through 6000 years of history... where every story told, comes from the next generation.
