“All things were made by Him (the Word) and without Him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:3 KJV)”.
The existence of both the church in the heavens and the church on the earth is made possible by the Word of God. Neither of them can exist without it. The Word of God is the very identity of God: without this Word, no man can ever know God, let alone have a relationship with Him. A proper understanding of the nature of the Word of God (scriptures) is therefore crucial for proper doctrine and spirituality.
This December 2024 End of Year Special Program presents a series on the Word of God. The importance and nature of the Word of God (scriptures) are explained. Teachings are presented on how doctrine and the scriptures can be understood and confirmed. Pastor Jeffrey Walter emphasizes the necessity of preaching the true gospel (repentance and the remission of sins) while highlighting the proper disposition required of "Fishers of Men", urging us to become laborers in the Lord’s harvest.
Pastor Jeffrey Walter, in this episode, “The Word of God”, teaches on the centrality and superiority of the Word of God and how it constitutes the principle of church (spirituality) in a man. He explains how the true Word of God (even when it is on the decline amongst men) is preserved, thus making the renewal of spirituality possible. Further, he teaches on correspondences (symbols) and the nature of the scriptures, highlighting why the internal meaning (spiritual sense) of the scriptures must be perceived beyond the letter (literal meaning). He emphasises how the whole of scriptures speaks about God and His Kingdom only.
