Beloved, the Lord would not have us ignorant of the existence of demonic forces and its operations (Ephesians 6:12, 1 Peter 5:8). More often than not, we find our minds being filled with thoughts and our hearts filled with desires that derail us from good actions we must do and rather urge us toward evil conduct. These thoughts do not originate from us but are a result of the demonic forces from hell relentlessly working to take us away from the will of God.

Similarly, when we realize the presence of good and noble thoughts in our minds, we must know that these thoughts are also not generated by us but from the hosts of angels and good spirits who seek to supply us with what is Good and True in the Lord.

Having a proper understanding of these two opposing forces and their impact on us, brings us a step closer to knowing what fights us in our pursuit of God and puts us back on the path to victory.
