In Lamentations, we find the funeral address for a nation. We must ask ourselves, "How did this happen?" Jerusalem was once the beauty of the whole earth, but after she came under God's judgment, the prophet says she was childless, a widow, and a slave. Those who reject God will face His judgment. We must speak the truth in love to this lost and dying world before it is too late for them to come to Christ.
