Ephesians 1:3-14

If Christian people could have only one prayer answered, what should they ask from the Lord? I believe we should pray for revival. When revival comes, everything else we need will follow.

God has given a trustworthy and sufficient revelation of Himself so that every person can know with certainty who Jesus Christ is and place their faith in Him. True faith does not depend upon seeing miracles or having every question answered, but upon receiving the testimony God has preserved in His Word. Those who believe discover that the Scriptures are enough to reveal the Saviour, strengthen their confidence, and bring the assurance of eternal life through His name.

Job 23:1-12

The Christian life is not measured by the absence of trials but by a growing confidence in the God who never loses sight of His children. Even when His presence cannot be felt and His purposes cannot be understood, He knows every step, supplies strength for every burden, uses every trial to refine His people, and calls them to remain faithful to His Word. As believers learn to trust His heart instead of their circumstances, they discover that God is accomplishing a greater work through every difficulty than they could ever see on their own.

When Christ is present, fear gives way to peace and uncertainty gives way to mission.

What appears to be defeat, silence, and unanswered sorrow is often the very place where God has already begun His greatest work. The resurrection reminds us that God is always working ahead of our fears, our questions, and our understanding, and that one word from the living Saviour can turn despair into worship and sorrow into joyful obedience.

Hebrews 12:4-13

God's correction is not a sign of rejection but one of the clearest evidences of His love and our place in His family. A loving Father refuses to leave His children is sin, rebellion, or spiritual immaturity, and HIs discipline is always designed to restore, strengthen, and guide us back into close fellowship with Him. Though correction is rarely pleasant in the moment, it produces holiness, wisdom, and the peaceable fruit of righteousness in those who receive it with humility. Rather than resisting His hand, believers can find comfort in knowing that every act of chastening flows from the heart of a Father who delights in His children and is committed to their growth.

What appeared to be the end was actually God preparing for victory, proving once again that His purposes never fail and His Word never falls to the ground.

John 19:16-37

The cross was not a tragedy outside of God's control but the very purpose for which Christ came into the world. Every wound, every word, and every detail unfolded exactly according To the plan of God and the promises of Scripture. The One who suffered did so willingly, bearing the penalty of sin in full and completing the word of redemption once and for all. Even in His deepest suffering, His compassion, His authority, and His kingship remained on display. What appeared to be defeat was in reality the greatest victory ever won, as the Savior finished the work that only He could accomplish.
