Mankind is created as an intelligent body, because every aspect (soul, spirit and body) of the man is meant to be a vessel of God. The soul is the innermost part which connects the man directly to God to keep him made while the spirit is the conscious part of him. He is not meant to be a lifeless body, but an intelligent body (an occupation of God). He is made an intelligent body by the supply of the capacities of “free will” and “rationality” from the Lord through his soul.

Though the spirit is supposed to be the entire consciousness of man, it’s only the lower natural part of the mind that is accessible to every man – the upper parts (celestial and spiritual) of the mind are closed to the unspiritual man. All the levels of our being must respond to God for our regeneration so that we can access our celestial and spiritual minds for Divine revelation.

In this series, “The Spirit That Makes Alive”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter discusses what our vessels ought to contain, how we go out of alignment (infirmed), where to go to for healing and how to approach the Lord to be made whole.

In this episode, “The Intelligent Body”, he demonstrates that each level of our makeup is meant to be a vessel to contain God’s love and wisdom. He reveals the part of our being that gets corrupted when we do not yield our vessels for God’s dwelling.

This is a call for us to consciously yield all of our spirits and bodies for the Lord’s rulership.
