The one thing that we all have in common is self-judgement. It can hold us back from moving forward in life - its what I have called 'resistance' in the past. Your self-judgement can wreak havoc on your entire life experience. Think of it this way...all of your thoughts and emotions are creating your next experience. So what do you think that thoughts like: You are totally screwing this up!!! What is wrong with you? You could have done a better job! You are not very good at this! This is not working out the way at all! I recently had to stop myself from having these very thoughts after a lecture I had done didn't work out as I planned. The videos that I had in the demonstration didn't work - the funny thing was that the lecture was about STRESS and being able to let it go. There I was explaining to the audience, what was in the video and it really turned out great. A video not working happened twice in the same lecture, and I made fun of the fact that the technology was trying to stress me out. It was actually perfect - to be able to show them that you need to let go and go with the flow. I was told after the talk that I did a great job - they had been to another of my lectures and mentioned, that I was more relaxed at this one. I could feel myself wanting to disagree with them - but, WHAT IF I DID do awesome and by NOT judging myself, I was moving on to a higher vibration. It's where we all want to be - a higher vibration is where all our desires are. What we practice grows stronger...either you reach for the stars and the higher vibration thoughts, or you choose to allow yourself to doubt yourself - a lower vibration thought. The thing is, if you choose to doubt yourself...THAT thought will grow stronger. I really believe that the daily practice of meditation, writing out a gratitude list & journaling, has helped me to let go of the negative thoughts that would have taken over me after this lecture. Meditation is a very calming practice and something that I do not miss doing on a daily basis. Someone actually did some research about meditation and they found that when you practice meditation it strengthens your immune system, it decreases stress, decreases cortisol and even helps you to sleep better. THAT is a great reason to meditate isn't it? That is the thing - you have a choice on what you practice - either you practice self-judgement or you practice meditation or any other practice that will help you to raise your vibration and be at ease with yourself - a more of an acceptance state of mind. I love the freebie I have for you this week - its a workbook that you can download with a daily practice you can begin - one that will completely change your experience. I have followed this practice for a couple of years now and I highly recommend it. As usual, be sure let us all know how you made out on the Telfer Coaching facebook page. Just a reminder...The important part to remember is to DO the work...unless you do something different...how can your life change?
