Making friends can be so easy as a kid: you find someone in your class at school who likes to play kickball or likes the same flavor pudding as you, and bam! You just found your new best friend. So why is it so much more harder for adults?

Friendship as an adult is complicated. As you grow older, your old friends change and sometimes move away. Distance can make it hard to stay in touch which may not seem worth it at times. On top of that, making new friends is equally tricky. It’s uncomfortable to initiate a true friendship, so we end up settling for acquaintances out of convenience.
