KG is an accomplished Kenyan mountaineer and mountain guide. He is the first Kenyan to summit Mount Everest (2022). He is also the first African to summit Denali (1989) and Aconcagua (1994). He runs KG Mountain Expeditions, an adventure travel company based in Naro Moru town. They offer hiking and climbing trips in East Africa.
