The other day, I woke up to being tagged by 13 people essentially telling me to get my workout done and my mind immediately said: THIS is exactly the answer to why it’s so easy for me to stay motivated. People ask me all the time how I peel myself out of bed and get a workout done even when I don’t want to and I simply realized after seeing the 13 tags is that I am surrounded by people who DON'T let me fail. Whereas a lot of other people are WAITING for the answer.
They are waiting for this golden ticket, this magical line from a book or podcast, a sudden burst of energy, whatever. They are waiting for someone to save them and GIVE them the answer. But really, they fail to realize that until THEY take the first steps- nothing will change. Motivation doesn’t magically appear. It’s something you have to CREATE for yourself.
