Open Theism is a theological novum. It has only been around since the early 1990s and already it has caused quite the stir. Reformed leaders, such as John Piper, have fought against this doctrine quite vigorously. 

It's core pillars are:

1. God is all-knowing but does not know the future

2. Man is fully and wholly free to do what he wants

3. The pinnacle of God's existence is love
