Making new year’s resolutions is such a strong tradition in our culture, despite their overwhelmingly dismal outcomes.⠀ ⠀ “I’m going to lose weight.”

“I’m going to be on time.”

“This is my year to get organized.”

"I’ve joined a gym, and I’m going to go three times each week.”⠀ ⠀ In reality, most are forgotten by the time February rolls around. But why??⠀ ⠀ Lack of vision and planning are two of the biggest reasons that resolutions fail. We are creatures of habit, after all. But that doesn't mean we can't achieve our goals and aspirations in 2021—we just need to approach them differently and take the steps to set ourselves up for success.
