Inside Out Theory

016: “Just because I started loving me more, doesn't mean that I ever loved you less.”

Listen Later

In this episode, we speak about friendships; the ebb and flow of relationships that come in and out of our lives as we work towards building a stronger relationship with ourselves. Quite often, as we strengthen the relationship we have with ourselves, our relationships with others shift, change, and yes, sometimes weaken. The needs we have for ourselves change, and therefor so do the needs we're willing to provide within a friendship or relationship. Boundaries may (and likely will) be challenged, broken, and rebuilt. But at the end of the day, what I wish more than anything, is that those who have now left knew this: “Just because I started loving me more, doesn't mean that I ever loved you less.”

I dedicate this episode to the friends that I’ve lost.
