In this episode, Zach says that one of his favorite things in podcasting and radio is he loves interviewing. In podcasting and radio in general, you’re never gonna be the best but you always strive to be the best. You’re never gonna be perfect but you strive to be perfect. You’re always reaching for that an unattainable goal but maybe it’s just to get 1% better or to be a little bit better than you were the day before. So in interviewing, what Zach try to do is to interview with a different spin. Ask a question that is isn’t always asked of the recipient or try to ask in a different way. There are a lot of people that are used to being interviewed that you will interview. Those people have probably heard a lot of the same questions and know exactly how to answer them word per word. Stop asking same question or find another way to ask. Let the interviewee be the star. If you can, just find a way to ask questions or surprise the interviewee with a question worded differently or propose in a different light.
