Hey, it’s Brian, founder of The Dixon Agency, and in this 17th episode of the Content Creator Show, we’re going to talk about how you can measure your progress.

What Do You Measure?

Most of us did not go to school to become a content creator. Instead it is a career that we found later on. And many of us are still just doing this part time. So to get the most of your time you need to focus on measuring two key metrics.

At The Dixon Agency we measure Impact and Income

Impact is measured by three key audience demographics:

  • Visitors
  • Subscribers
  • Customers
  • (Lead Magnets and FLOATS Model Episode) Income

    • Measured by Sales
    • Products and Programs: how much money they are making?
    • Action Steps
      1. Install tracking software. Start with Google Analytics. Sign up for a free account and paste the tracking script into your WordPress website.
      2. Decide on three metrics to measure. At least one based on income and one or two based on impact.
      3. Pick one day per week when you will review your results.
      4. Remember, you have a message to share and an audience to serve. Now let’s go change the world.
